CMU Saturday Architecture Program: Fall 2017

  • Carnegie Mellon University College of Fine Arts, Room 214 Pittsburgh, PA (map)

CMU's Saturday Sequence emphasizes the problem-solving skills central to the architectural design process. Students work both independently and collaboratively to find innovative solutions to specific challenges, and learn how to create architectural drawings and models.  Each year, the sequence focuses on a particular topic, such as sustainability or computational design, and challenges involve Pittsburgh sites whenever possible. This year, the 6-8 and 9-12 grade sections will be working on a project in Pittsburgh's Millvale neighborhood - program is FREE for Millvale students!

Classes are taught 9:30 - 12:30 on-campus by young professionals from the Pittsburgh area and Carnegie Mellon architecture students. The Saturday Sequence offers 4 sections: K-2, 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12.

Sign up for the fall 2017 Saturday Sequence sessions using this registration form.
